General Secretary
Duties:
- Maintain and keep all official documents relating to membership, minutes,(general and executive meetings), correspondence, and/or records on loan from other organizations, institutions, or individuals in which the SLCCO shall have an interest
- Conduct all official correspondence subject to approval by the President
- Report to the President unless otherwise instructed by the General members.
- Convene executive and/or general meetings in consultation with the President
- Assist the President in the preparation of the agenda for all meetings
- Make the agenda available to persons expected to attend the meeting for which the agenda was prepared
- Type and distribute the minutes of the general and executive meetings one week prior to any subsequent meetings.
- Serve as initial Trustee for the SLCCO, Inc., on whom due process shall be served.
- Serve as second Alternate Trustee subsequent to incorporation and shall be second in line for same.
- Represent the SLCCO at external functions in consultation with and subject to the approval of the president.
- Preserve the confidential nature of all matters pertaining to the SLCCO
